Cancun Fishing Trips offers private deep sea fishing charters for families, groups and anglers who want the boat and crew to themselves. Trips depart from the Cancun Hotel Zone and are available in 4, 6 and 8-hour options.

Our private charters are operated by experienced local captains and crews aboard 31 ft. and 33–35 ft. sportfishing boats. Depending on the season, trips may target sailfish, marlin, mahi-mahi, wahoo, tuna, barracuda, amberjack, grouper, snapper and other offshore species.

Fishing tackle, bait, Mexican fishing licenses, bottled water, soft drinks and beer are included. Eight-hour charters also include sandwiches.

Cancun Deep Sea Fishing Seasons

Deep sea fishing in Cancun is available year-round, but the species you are most likely to encounter change throughout the year.

Spring & Summer — April through August:
This is the primary season for sailfish, blue marlin, white marlin, mahi-mahi, wahoo and tuna.

Year-Round Species:
Barracuda, amberjack, grouper, snapper, Spanish mackerel and shark can be caught throughout the year, depending on conditions.

Every private fishing charter includes the boat and fuel, an experienced captain and first mate, fishing gear, tackle, bait, Mexican fishing licenses, ice, bottled water, soft drinks and beer.

Eight-hour charters also include sandwiches.

Gratuities and the $20 USD per person government dock and conservation fee are not included.
